Affirmed Home Care is hiring experienced Certified Home Health Aides (HHAs) for a per diem private-duty case in Oyster Bay, NY caring for a bed-bound female client. Hoyer lift experience is required.

Position Overview

Role: Home Health Aide (HHA) – Per Diem
Location: Oyster Bay, NY + nearby Nassau County communities
Client: Bed-bound female (private duty, 1:1 care)
Shifts: 12-hour day shifts (8:00 AM – 8:00 PM)
Schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday
Start Date: Immediate openings

Pay & Benefits

Pay Rate: From $19.00/hour
Flexible scheduling – choose shifts that fit your availability

Home Health Aide Duties

Assist with ADLs: bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, mobility
Safe transfers using Hoyer lift
Companionship and emotional support
Light housekeeping and meal preparation
Maintain client comfort, safety, and dignity
Follow individualized care plans

Requirements

Active New York State HHA certification
Minimum 1 year HHA experience
Hoyer lift experience required
Authorized to work in the U.S.
Compassionate, reliable, professional
Current physical (within 1 year)
PPD/QuantiFERON (1 year) or chest X-ray (5 years)
MMR immunization (10 years)
Driver’s license preferred
