Position Overview

As a Certified Home Health Aide with Affirmed Home Care, you will provide personalized, in-home care to clients in Yonkers and surrounding Westchester areas. This role is ideal for HHAs seeking flexibility, steady assignments, and a professional agency that values reliability, respect, and high-quality care.


Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with personal care and daily hygiene

  • Provide medication reminders as directed

  • Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping

  • Offer companionship and emotional support

  • Promote client safety, dignity, and independence


Requirements

  • Valid New York State HHA Certificate

  • Minimum 1 year of HHA experience

  • Authorization to work in the United States

  • Driver’s license preferred (drivers strongly encouraged)

  • Ability to meet NY State health requirements, including:

    • Physical exam within the past year

    • PPD or QuantiFERON within 1 year, or chest X-ray within 5 years

    • MMR immunization within the past 10 years
