Your Role as a PCA

As a Personal Care Aide, your responsibilities may include:

• Assisting with personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing)

• Preparing meals and assisting with feeding

• Light housekeeping duties

• Providing companionship and emotional support

What You’ll Need

• At least 1 year of experience as a PCA

• Valid NYS PCA Certificate

• Eligibility to work in the United States

• COVID-19 vaccination

• Driver’s license (strongly preferred)

• Physical exam within the last year

• PPD or QuantiFERON within the last year or chest X-ray within the last 5 years

• MMR immunization (within 10 years)
